Title: Chief Operating Officer

CLIENT:
Our client is a company focusing on medical and industrial applications of imaging, publicly trading on the American Stock Exchange, and currently employing 60. The company has two to three products presently being marketed, with a goal of $5 million in revenue this year from these products. They currently have approximately $25 million in cash and liquid investments.

The company has developed an automated system for industrial analysis and determining whether a turbine part is fully functional, using an image processor system with sophisticated image analysis software to accomplish this. Other products currently being sold are a medical device and an imaging system allowing for physiological changes to be seen as they affect a particular part of the body.

POSITION:
The new President will have broad experience, ideally in operations, sales and marketing. Most importantly, he/she should have successfully run a comparably sized public company. Must be focused on the revenue side of the business and running the day-to-day activity. The company has gone through its ISO review and is due for a GMP audit. Therefore, this executive should be knowledgeable in these areas. It is going to take a high energy, polished businessman to steer the course. Reporting to the President is the Head of R&D, Vice President Sales and Marketing, Head of Quality, Chief Financial Officer and a Vice President General Manager. This leader will know how to set objectives and strategize to meet them.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Technical or Marketing degree. MBA a plus.
• 15+ years experience.
• Medical device industry background.
• Familiar with ISO certification, GMP, and an understanding of working with the FDA.
• International. Relationship building.
• Public company experience. Industrial a plus.
• Must have run a small to medium size company.
• Ability to focus on the revenue side of the business (revenue generation).
• A morale booster. Articulate.

COMPENSATION:

• Base salary approximately $150,000.00.
• Performance based bonus to 50%.
• Stock options. Approximately 75,000-80,000 shares.
