CLIENT:
Client company is a joint venture formed to develop and market products using electronic systems that provide advance notification technology. The primary target market for the company's product will be local telephone companies, exchange carriers and wireless providers.
POSITION:
The position requires establishing, directing, and managing the market strategy, market plan and sales and marketing budget for the newly formed joint venture, and includes the following responsibilities:
- Interact with management team to establish sales goals in accordance with overall goals of the company.
- Must be willing and able to be a nationwide salesperson until the sales force has been hired. Provide technical sales presentations to customers.
- Participate in hiring, and prepare and mentor Account Executives to market company's products.
- Establish and implement a marketing strategy and plan for the product.
- Establish and manage sales and marketing budget to include advertising and promotional activities.
- Negotiate terms of sales with customers.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 10 years of experience in technical consumer product sales. Experience selling to telecommunications service providers preferred.
- Must be able to manage new product market introduction with technical electronic products.
- Requires four year business or technology degree; MBA or Master's in Marketing preferred.
- Successful candidates will be both accustomed to and thrive in a start-up environment.
- Demonstrated experience as manager or director of direct and indirect (representative) sales force.
- Successful experience interacting with corporate executives, other levels in an organization, as well as external people.
- Ability to prioritize potential customer leads to ensure achievement of sales targets.
- Leadership skills for team and planning activities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills including written report preparation, memos, and presentations.

- Approximately $100,000.00.
